Educational use
OpenTrade cards are illustrative research and education. They are not personalized investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell securities, or an offer to manage an account.
OpenTrade does not hold customer funds, connect to brokerage accounts, place trades, route orders, or provide execution.
Terms
Broker activity, account suitability, pricing, availability, and execution remain outside OpenTrade. If you act on a card, you do so at your own broker.
Some cards may start from automated market, news, social, or model-assisted workflows, but a card must pass human review and verification before it can appear in the public deck.
Privacy
The web deck stores saves, reviews, appearance, and broker preference locally in your browser.
Ask OpenTrade questions are processed to answer the card-scoped request, but analytics events do not store the raw question text.
The consumer app uses product analytics to understand how the app is used: page lifecycle, typed product events, interaction heatmaps, and session replay. Privacy is protected at capture time. Form inputs are masked, and sensitive on-screen figures (such as illustrative prices, estimates, and ranges) are redacted from session replay and heatmaps. Analytics events never include prices or the raw text of questions you ask.
When you create an account with Google, we use the email address Google provides to send The Drop and occasional OpenTrade product updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option, and a prior unsubscribe remains effective if you later create an account.
On a paid Reddit visit, OpenTrade may send Reddit a browser page-visit signal and the Reddit click identifier already attached to the ad link. This browser measurement disables first-party Pixel cookies, honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track, and does not send email, phone, OpenTrade account IDs, questions, holdings, trades, or other financial data.
Broker handoff
Broker links are external. Any account opening, suitability review, pricing, availability, execution, or order decision happens with the broker, not OpenTrade.
